My name is Darianny Finoll, I am 29 years old and I am a lawyer specializing in aviation law, originally from Venezuela. I am a passionate person dedicated to my personal and professional growth.
I consider myself a strong person, with a constant desire to grow in all aspects of life. Being a Gemini, my versatile and curious nature pushes me to constantly seek new experiences and knowledge. Although I initially emigrated from Venezuela for tourism, circumstances led me to settle abroad, a decision that allowed me to further enhance my identity, my land and the human warmth that I left behind me.
Living in Iceland was a challenge. I have learned to adapt and deal with situations outside of my comfort zone, which I am deeply proud of. My personal experiences have taught me the value of empathy and resilience. I appreciate each of the decisions I have made, without regret, because I believe that what others might see as mistakes have, for me, been choices that have strengthened me. As they say in my country, “borrón y cuenta nueva”; Each experience taught me a valuable lesson and was a step forward.
What do you like to do in life and how do you spend your free time?
In my free time I like activities that allow me to relax and reconnect with myself, such as listening to music, travelling and spending time with my family and friends. They are my main source of support and motivation.
Apart from this, I like to collaborate and give my contribution to society, especially helping those beings who have no voice: animals. I connect deeply with animals because I consider them the purest, most beautiful, faithful and loyal beings that exist in the world. I spend my time researching, reading, and observing foundations that truly contribute to the cause of animals and that I trust will provide my support. Even if it is a lot or a little, I believe that every grain of sand helps and contributes to the cause.
What inspires you about the world of fashion and what are your expectations for the future?
For me, fashion is a powerful means of expressing identity and conveying deep emotions. Although my background is not as a designer, I find inspiration in contributing innovative ideas that promote self-expression and sustainability in the industry. In the future I aspire to collaborate with creative minds and brands committed to ethics and the environment. My goal is to positively influence, promoting more sustainable and inclusive practices. I want to be part of the change towards fashion that is not only visually impactful, but also conscious and responsible.
What do you expect from this experience at Miss Europe Continental and from your life in general?
It represents a unique opportunity to grow and connect on a personal and professional level. In addition to winning, I want to achieve meaningful personal growth and valuable connections that enrich my journey, I hope to absorb every experience and inspire others with my authenticity and values. My philosophy is to let life surprise me, taking every opportunity as a lesson and a blessing. I have no limiting expectations, but rather the hope that each day brings me new perspectives and opportunities to grow, learn, and appreciate the beauty of life in all its forms. My goal is to live with gratitude and open myself to the surprises the universe has in store for me.
How do you imagine yourself in 10 years?
In a decade, I imagine I have achieved many of my personal and professional goals. I see myself leading significant projects in different fields, including fashion and law, among others that life presents to me. I recognize that plans can change in an instant, but my greatest desire is to find myself in a place of fulfillment and inner peace.
In the long term, I aspire to create a foundation dedicated to supporting voiceless beings. At the same time, I want to continue strengthening myself so that I can provide solid support to my parents and close relatives.
What is your dream in life?
My dream in life is to leave a positive legacy through my actions and work.
I aspire to inspire others with humility and passion, demonstrating that with determination you can achieve anything. My greatest desire is to contribute to a more just and sustainable world, where everyone has the opportunity to grow and reach their full potential. I have a deep desire to help voiceless beings, especially animals, who deserve our care and compassion.
In addition to my professional commitment, I also have a deep personal desire. I dream of returning to my country and reuniting with my family in a united environment, where there are no political divisions or separations forced by distance. I want to relive the experience of my childhood, when the family unit was something every day and natural, sharing every moment and celebrating life despite our differences. I wish to see my country prosper under unity, progress and peace.
