My name is Jannica Marina Ståhlfors and I am 34 years old. I was born in Sweden and it is an honour to represent my country in Miss Europe Continental.

I am a single mother of two, who independently runs two successful businesses. My children are the focus of my life, and I work hard to create the best opportunities for their future success.

I have a strong commitment to health and well-being, which is reflected in my passion for padel, football and gym training. My active lifestyle has led me to a professional career in dance, which has given me the drive and self-discipline that have been crucial in my life.

Those who know me would likely describe me as empathetic, positive, and down-to-earth, always striving for the best for others. I live by the principle of equal value for all and that every individual deserves to feel good.

In preparation for Miss Europe Continental, I place great importance on mental and physical preparation. Through my activities in sports such as padel and gym training, I ensure that I am in top shape. I also own a massage salon where the main focus is on health care and well-being. My work experience has given me the knowledge of how to manage my nerves and simply enjoy the moment while staying true to myself. My mantra for the competition is to stay calm, appreciate the moment, and have fun – and perhaps most importantly, be true to who I am.

A period in my life was marked by an abusive relationship that led to me losing much and myself. No one should have to experience such difficulties, but for me, it became a growth phase in life. The most formative experience in my life was the day I realized I would rise and regain my self-confidence. This builds my courage for the competition. I wish to be an example for those who have experienced to feel one’s lowest point and struggled to rise. I managed to overcome my obstacles, and now my ambition is to give others hope and inspiration that there are brighter times ahead and that they are achievable.

My advice to other participants is to remember that we are all unique and that true beauty comes from within. Holding on to that though is important to me. Be true to yourself, then you show your best side, because we are all beautiful just as we are.
